Eden O. Terenzini

Eden O. Terenzini, recognized five times consecutively by Maryland Super Lawyers as a "Rising Star" in family law, focuses her practice exclusively in domestic law litigation, mediation, and collaboration. Her experience includes but is not limited to complex property distribution, business valuation, alimony, custody, and child support issues.  She has presented recent seminars in Montgomery County on divorce, property disposition, and child related issues. 

Ms. Terenzini has completed the Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers (MICPEL) civil mediation training, a course in domestic mediation for child custody and access issues, and the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals Inc. collaborative practice team training.  She also has completed MICPEL training for court-appointed lawyers representing children in child custody or access cases.

Ms. Terenzini's previous experience includes litigation and administration of adult guardianship cases, as well as administration of estates and trusts.

A cum laude graduate of Heidelberg University (Ohio), Ms. Terenzini earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy. She also holds an M.A. in English from the University of Rochester. Ms. Terenzini received her J.D. degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, where she was Notes and Comments editor of the University of Maryland Law Journal of Race, Religion, Gender and Class. She also gained litigation experience as a law clerk in a general practice firm in Howard County, Maryland and as a summer intern for the Honorable Deborah K. Chasanow in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.

Ms. Terenzini is admitted to practice in both Maryland (2003) and Massachusetts (2004). She has practiced before the trial level courts in Montgomery, Howard, Prince George's, Anne Arundel, Charles and Baltimore counties and in the City of Baltimore. She also has prepared briefs for and participated in oral argument before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

Ms. Terenzini is a member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Montgomery County Bar Association, the Women's Bar Association of Maryland, the Collaborative Dispute Resolution Professionals, Inc, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
